Using WORD to make a Milestone chart

To create the above I did the following:

Create a baseline using a 9 column by 1 row table. I could have used simple line with the months in text boxes.
As before create coloured text boxes for the text and draw arrows from the Drawing toolbar.

Another easy but less visual milestone chart would be to create a 2 column by 10-row table and complete as follows.

Start Staff Climate Survey	Mid June
Steering group Trained	Mid June
Start Customer Surveys	Start August
Visits to other companies	End August
Staff Climate Survey Complete	Mid September
Train Other Managers	Mid October
Complete Awareness Training	Mid November
Facilitators Trained	Mid November
10 QATs formed & working	Mid January
