Leadership Skills

Leadership of a team is a professional task and as such requires particular skills. Peter Drucker summarised what he saw as the five main principles of management as being:

setting objectives
organising
motivating and communicating,
establishing measurements of performance and
developing people.

This section covers some notes on what are commonly accepted as the key skills required to fulfil those principles.
